Mindfulness and Multiple Intelligences: 8 Ways to Pay Attention

How are you smart?Let me count the ways.Harvard professor Howard Gardner was the first to describe the concept of Multiple Intelligences.

Dont Settle

Settling is about not embracing what is best for you, and accepting what you really don't want. When you settle, you accept less than you deserve.

Dont Be Jealous - Be Inspired

When we see people do things we cannot do, or have things we don't have, it might be tempting to be a little jealous. But, jealousy doesn't lead to anything except resentment, and that isn't going to help you.

Viewpoints - Communication Destruction Or....

Viewpoints! Everyone has them and they are personal. However, when you believe that only your view is correct, you shut out other people and do not listen to the facts they are giving.

Going On a Mental Diet

Diets are always in style. Every time you turn around, someone is coming out with a new and improved diet.

Not Blind, Just No Vision

Helen Keller once remarked that there was one thing she knew of that was worse than being blind; it was to be able to see but have no vision. In case you do not know the story of Helen Keller, she was less than two years old when she suddenly came down with a fever that left her unconscious.

Living In The Now

I hope you are sitting down as you read this! You cannot begin to work on this kind of subject without addressing the subject of time itself - and when was the last time you did that? There are three basic areas or modules of time that are most commonly referred to:1)The Past2)The Present3)The FutureWhat I would like to do is have you work out where the "present" is though. In the time it has taken you to read just those last few words, that space in time that we might refer to as the present has gone.

Is Coaching For You?

More and more people have less and less time, but have greater demands both personally and professionally. This situation has resulted in the emergence of personal coaching within four basic areas: Financial, Physical or Fitness, Life or Career and Executive Performance.

Nothing is left to Chance

You are going to meet a very important client for lunch. What do you do? If you are anything like Anna the first job is to ensure the outside you is perfect, well dressed, matching clothes, clean shoes, washed in your favourite soaps, perfume.

Context is King!

If you've been around the Internet for more than two hours, you've probably heard someone say it or write it. If you haven't, you will.

Becoming An Information Filter And A Knowledge Sponge

As the title states, "Become an Information Filter and a Knowledge Sponge." On your daily journey to achieve your WHY, you will travel through many different avenues and sometimes you will ask yourself, "Why do I need to meet this person or experience this situation?" The key is to truly understand that you must become an information filter and use your personal God-given filters -- your eyes and your ears.

That Little Bit Of Extra

Words About Changing in Life
Change is constant even if we do not like it. We can fight, resist, try to go backwards but change will still be there when we are spent out and exhausted from all our efforts. Only to come back and realise all that was futile, it only gives us a momentary escape but we are still in the process of change, unfolding within and outside of ourselves. The truth really is we are the change noticed only when we embrace that truth as it is in an observer of our own unique realities.
